A search query entered in a third-party search box passes to that search provider under its own policy. Messages may include the sender’s name, email address, and the text supplied. Servers and analytics tools may automatically record an IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, and error data. Cookies or similar storage may remember preferences, measure traffic, support ads, and help prevent misuse.
How Information Is Used
Collected data may be used to operate and secure the site, answer messages, repair errors, understand which Worcester County resources are useful, measure traffic, and display or evaluate advertising. Contact details are not a way to file a WCSO public-records request or confirm custody.
